WHY WOULD OUR COMPANY HIRE THROUGH E & D INSTEAD OF LOOKING FOR OUR OWN APPLICANTS?

A few reasons:

1. Your time is money.  You don't need to waste time perusing and screening resumes.  We do that for you.  You can focus on dollar-productive behavior.  We send you only our pre-screened, qualified, vetted, available applicants.

2.  Our Principal, Gene Lazar has done contract engineering since the 1970s.  He knows people and is well connected.  With his leadership, our team can find you the right fit for your positions.

3. You're losing profits by retaining direct-hires between jobs.  With our engineers, designers, and drafters, you only pay them the hours they work when you have projects for them.  

4. If your team is busy looking for engineers, designer, and drafters, they could miss out on procuring new projects, miss deadlines on current projects, and experience low profit margins because of high expenses on payroll, payroll taxes, etc.  

5. We reduce your risk of head-hunters or other firms pirating your team.  Since they work for us (not directly for you), they are less likely to leave for another firm. 

6. We pay holidays, vacation, payroll taxes, state and federal unemployment (so your unemployment rates don't go up between projects), employer match, accounting fees and you can deduct 100% of our fees!

I'M AN APPLICANT - WHY WOULD I WORK FOR E & D ENGINEERING?

We have over 40 years experience curating and placing engineers, designers, and drafters for facilities design projects.  We have incredible clients and great relationships with them, so we can easily get your name on the short list.  You can apply directly with companies, but then you go into their applicant tracking system and might never hear from them.  When we submit your resume to our clients, they know we've already spoken with you, determined your an E & D Right Fit™️ and you're available for hire.  They much prefer to interview our applicants than ones they have to screen.  Also, some of our clients won't hire you directly; they'll only hire through our firm.  We offer competitive salaries, industry-leading benefits (holidays, vacation, retirement, and more).

I'M AN APPLICANT BUT I DON'T HAVE FACILITIES DESIGN EXPERIENCE.  SHOULD I STILL APPLY?

No.  We're sure you're awesome, but we don't hire product, logistics, automotive, or any other specialties.  We pride ourselves on knowing the facilities design industry inside and out.
